A Folk Tales from around the world supports the literacy movement’s emphasis on the joy of reading and provides a starting point for ongoing enjoyment of folk tales in the classroom.

Multi-Cultural Folk Tales collection “Stone Soup and Other Stories,” contains classic favorites stories  from Africa -“The Long One”, India -“The Greatest Being”, Eastern Europe –“ The Stone Soup”and our own United States -“Freddie Lee Fisher” from West Virginia. Each folk tale introduces the spirit and customs of different cultures.
